Pay What You Can
At my clinic, care decisions are guided by what best supports your healing — not by insurance constraints or arbitrary systems. The Pay What You Can program makes functional and integrative medicine accessible while maintaining fairness and sustainability for both patient and practitioner.
The Green Bottle Method
This program follows the principles of the Green Bottle Method, a community‑based approach to financial equity. It recognizes that people have different levels of access to financial resources and invites transparency and shared responsibility in determining cost.
During your intake, we’ll review your insurance benefits and estimate possible reimbursement using a Superbill (an itemized receipt with diagnostic and service codes). Based on that and your current financial situation, we’ll mutually agree on a visit cost that feels sustainable for both of us.
How It Works
All appointments are eligible for insurance reimbursement via Superbill.
Step 1: We’ll determine the amount your insurance will likely cover.
Step 2: Together, we’ll agree on a fee that reflects your capacity to pay and the value of the care provided. You can revisit this arrangement anytime if your circumstances change.
Determining Your Contribution (guide ranges)
• Bottle 1 (all green): Able to meet all basic needs comfortably. Paying full visit fee supports others in accessing care. ($400–$500)
• Bottle 2 (half green / half white): Able to meet basic needs but may have limited expendable income. Contributing most of the full fee helps sustain equitable care. ($200–$350)
• Bottle 3 (mostly white): Experiencing financial hardship and unable to meet all basic needs. Contribute what you can. ($0–$200)
